The car and the counterweight (or counterweight) shall be suspended by steel wire ropes or parallel link steel chains or roller chains. The minimum distance between the car and its associated parts and the counterweight (or counterweight) and its associated parts should not be less than 50mm.
When the wear of the outer layer of the wire rope reaches 40% of its diameter, the wire rope should be scrapped, and the wire rope fiber core damaged or the steel core is broken and the rope diameter is significantly reduced. When the diameter of the wire rope is reduced by more than 7% relative to the nominal diameter, that is, no wire breakage occurs, and the wire rope should also be scrapped.
