The minimum breaking tensile force test procedure
of stainless steel wire rope 1. According to the minimum breaking tensile force value of stainless steel wire rope, select the appropriate dial of the testing machine. The tensile load of the general dial is 2 times that of the small breaking force of the test, but it should not exceed 5 times.
2. During the test, the jaws should ensure that the axis of the specimen coincides with the axis of the chuck. Deflection and loosening of the specimen grip are not allowed.
3. When the applied tensile load is not more than 80% of the small breaking tensile load of the sample, the force can be applied quickly. When this value is exceeded, the force application speed should generally be slowed down to 10N/mm2/S.
4. After the stainless steel wire rope test is over, the test record should be filled in carefully.
