Safety operation regulations for wire rope rigging
Precautions for use of wire rope rigging:
Before using the complete set of wire rope slings, the working load and use range on the label shall be clearly seen (refer to the table above if there is no label). Overloading is strictly prohibited.
Before using the complete set of wire ropes, the wire rope sling shall be directly hung into the stress center of the hook, and cannot be hung to the hook tip;
Before using the two wire rope slings, hang the two wire rope slings directly into the double hook, and hang the two wire rope slings at the symmetrical stress center of the double hook; When four wire rope slings are used, when each two wire rope slings are directly hung into the double hook, it shall be noted that the two wire rope slings in the hook shall not overlap and squeeze each other, and the four wire rope slings shall be symmetrical to the stress center of the hook;
When lifting the complete set of slings, the lifting angle shall not exceed 60 °;
It is forbidden to knot the wire rope slings, and direct contact between the wire ropes is prohibited. Shackles or lifting rings shall be added to separate them;
If the complete set of wire rope rigging makes abnormal noise during load operation, it shall be stopped and treated after being inspected by qualified personnel;
The complete set of wire rope slings shall be as stable as possible during the lifting process. Personnel are not allowed to pass on the articles and no one is allowed to stand under the lifted articles;
The connection method shall be correct during hoisting. Trial hoisting shall be carried out before hoisting, and the hoisting can be carried out only after the trial hoisting is successful. The hoisting process shall be stable and no impact is allowed;
Twisted trial hoisting and inclined hoisting are not allowed for the loop slings without joints;
When the object to be hoisted has edges and corners or rough surface, special protective devices shall be provided to protect the load and the rope without joints. It is prohibited to directly hoist the rope without joints.
Scrapping standard of steel wire rope:
The rope strand is broken.
When the fiber core of the steel wire rope is damaged or the steel core is broken, the rope diameter decreases significantly.
The elasticity decreases, for example, the diameter of a rope decreases, the twist length of B steel rope increases, the gap between C steel wires and strands decreases, the brown powder appears in the concave part of D rope strand, and the broken wire is not found in E, but the steel rope is not easy to bend when used, and the reduction of its diameter is much more serious than the wear of the steel rope.
When the wire diameter is reduced by 7% or more from the initial diameter.
When the deformation of the steel rope includes wave shape, cage shape distortion, strand extrusion, steel wire extrusion, local increase of the rope diameter, local decrease of the rope diameter, flattening and kinking of the steel rope.
Damage caused by the action of hot arc.
If the broken wires are concentrated within the rope length of less than 6D or in one strand, they shall be scrapped even if the number of broken wires is smaller than the value in the above table (Table 1).
If the broken wires are close together and form local concentration, they shall be scrapped.
When broken wires occur at or near the rope end, they shall be scrapped even if the number is small.
