The third point: during the use of the wire rope of the rotary drilling rig, it should be noted that the saddle shape of all rope clamps should be in contact with the long end of the wire rope. The U-bolt should be in contact with the annular end of the wire rope. It is wrong to install any saddle or U-shaped bolt of the rope clamp that does not conform to the above arrangement principle.

The fourth point: the lay direction of the wire rope should be selected in such a way that the wire rope is wound at the bottom of the drum.

The fifth point: the steel wire rope shall be arranged neatly when winding on the drum, and it is not allowed to wind randomly, otherwise it will cause serious pinching and crushing during the operation of the steel wire rope, and affect the service life of the steel wire rope.

The sixth point: the service life of the wire rope can be improved after the "running-in" of the new rope; At the same time, the steel wire rope should also be loaded and unloaded as slowly as possible at a uniform speed to avoid damage to the steel wire rope caused by excessive impact load.

The seventh point: pay special attention to the accurate calculation of the distance in the process of running in the hole when using the wire rope, and do not over-lay the wire rope, so as to prevent the wire rope from being twisted in a loose state and causing structural damage and scrapping of the whole wire rope.

The eighth point: "bite" of the wire rope in use is a special situation often seen in the rotary drilling rig. It is recommended that the "bite" position be regularly inspected and lubricated during use. If the wire rope is finally scrapped because of wire rope breakage and strand breakage caused by "bite", the drum should be improved, or the order length of the wire rope should be lengthened for rope cutting in use, Avoid early scrapping of the same part due to long-term "rope biting".

After the wire rope is put into use, its performance will gradually decrease. After the new rope is used for a period of time, the parts where the wire rope is liable to be damaged should be checked frequently, such as the parts where the wire rope is "bitten", the wire rope at the lower layer of the drum, the wire rope passing through the pulley and the parts where the wire rope enters and exits the drum in case of severe impact, etc. The regular inspection provides a basis for the reasonable and safe use of the wire rope.

The ninth point: treatment of broken wire. Pay attention to the broken wire during the use of the wire rope of the rotary drilling rig. In case of this accident, it should be handled in time. The broken wire head can be clamped with wire pliers and bent back and forth repeatedly until the wire is broken. After such treatment, the broken end of the steel wire will be clamped between the strand ropes and will not cause harm to the use of the steel wire ropes.

Tenth point: During the use of the wire rope of the rotary drilling rig, the anti-rotation wire rope shall be preferred. In addition, due to the special working conditions of rotary drilling rig, the phenomenon of "rope biting" frequently occurs, which will cause great damage to the wire rope. It is recommended to pay attention to the wear of the wire rope at the "bite" position during use to avoid major losses.
