How to correctly select mining wire rope? When selecting mining steel wire rope, the following points shall be paid attention to:

1. Galvanized steel wire rope shall be selected for use in the shaft with large water drenching and high pH in the mine due to serious corrosion.

2. In severely worn mines, it is better to select wire contact round strand and special-shaped strand wire rope or surface contact wire rope with thicker outer steel wire.

3. When fatigue wire breakage is the main cause of wire rope damage, the wire contact wire rope with small diameter difference between the inner and outer layers of wire (the filling type is better) or special-shaped strand wire rope can be selected.

4. The steel wire rope for mine hoisting shall be twisted in the same direction.

5. Steel wire rope for shaft hoisting shall be selected

6. The steel wire rope with metal rope core can be used for hoisting at gangue hill with high temperature or open fire.

7. The sealed steel wire rope shall be selected as the steel wire rope for the tank way. If other types of steel wire rope are selected, galvanized steel wire rope shall be preferred.
